David Robert Rose, Ph.D.

With over a decade of teaching experience across various educational levels, I bring a deep commitment to fostering student engagement and success. I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on English, alongside advanced degrees in education and secondary English instruction. Currently, as a high school English Teacher, I leverage my expertise in English literature and composition to support diverse student populations.

My career has spanned roles from high school English teacher to literary magazine contributor, and includes notable contributions in curriculum development, student mentorship, and community outreach. I am passionate about integrating research-driven methods to enhance student outcomes and engagement, particularly in underrepresented or alternative educational settings. Published in various media, I have a strong foundation in both academic and professional writing.

Beyond teaching, I am actively involved in service-oriented initiatives and professional associations, such as the Christian Educators Association International and the Kentucky Association of Teacher Educators. As I aspire to transition into an Assistant or Associate Professor role, I am eager to contribute to a dynamic academic community that values innovation, inclusivity, and interdisciplinary growth.

In my personal life, I am married to Caitlyn Rose, and we are expecting our first child, a daughter, in November 2025.
